The Prague Ratter is a miniature, friendly, social and very intelligent and obedient dog.  They are gentle and require very little care.  They show great love of their owners but are not always trustful of strangers except in the case of children, which they love and understand.  In a crowd of people you can be sure they will find the only child.  The adult dogs rarely bark.  By nature they are noble and intelligent.  They are just like little people and develop their own unique personality and have the personality of a large dog in a small body.   They are laid back and watchful most of the time but when playing are very fast and lively.  They are warm hearted and love to be held, considering most any lap to be a great resting spot and they are the ultimate lap dog.  Mine seem to enjoy wearing clothing while my sister's do not.  If you want to try clothing you need to start putting clothes on them at an early age.
