Vera L. Grasso P.O. Box 264 Farmington, IA 52626 (319) 931-7771
Hello,
My name is Vera Grasso. My husband Rich and I live just outside of the
small village of Farmington in extreme southeast IA in the US. We have
78 acres in the middle of Schimek State Forest, which borders our
property on 3 sides. We are 8 miles from Missouri and about 20 miles
from Illinois. My Grandfather immigrated from a small town outside of
Prague in the Czech Republic in early 1903, so I am an American of
Czech descent. I remember as a child the wonderful stories he told of
"The Old Country" as he fondly called it.
I
learned about the Prague Ratter in 2005 and knew they were a way for me to
have something of my grandfather's "Old Country" We got our first Prague Ratter ,
a female, from a breeder in South Dakota in March of 2006 and she
quickly became a part of our family. We got a pedigreed male directly
from Prague, Czech Republic on Mother's Day 2009 and he has also become
a beloved part of the family. They both have Czech names but those are hard to pronounce in a pinch so we call
them Jaylee and Jubal for short. My 2 dogs are Black and Tan the little female, weights 4lbs 9oz and
our male weights 3lbs 3oz so my puppies will be small. My sister has a Red female, Zoey and a Black and Tan male named Zkypper.
If you are considering a small dog then the Prague Ratter is the dog for you, because they are the Ultimate Lap Dog."WE ARE NOT A PUPPY MILL OUR AIM IS TO PRODUCE HEALTHY HAPPY HIGH QUALITY PUPPIES!"Our dogs are home
raised with lots of love and care, and are slightly spoiled.I will
leave it to you to spoil your own puppy, and believe me you WILL. In the past we
have raised and bred Beagles and Schipperkes.
Prague Ratters have no known health problems and can live as long as 12 to 15
years. My puppies will be registered with the Prague Ratter Club of America which is based in California. For more info on the club go
to www.pragueratterclub.com . My puppies will have their potty training started, and will have been given their first shots and first worming, so
they will arrive to you healthy and happy. They will come with
shot records and will be certified healthy by our Veterinarian. They will be sent to you in a rigid
plastic carrier which is designed for shipping, or you may come get
your puppy if you wish. (In which case you will still receive a
carrier.)
